Global Metal Finishers

Global Metal Finishers were established in the heart of the UK’s manufacturing industry, Wolverhampton, in 1999.

Initially set up as a small polishing and plating business that supplied the brassware industry, they were quickly forced to diversify into providing high-quality metal finishing solutions to a wider range of industries. The past 10 years have seen continual investment in plant equipment which has seen the business grow to include: Polishing, Rack and Barrel Electroplating, Powder Coating, and Wet Paint Systems.

Global contacted us as at EJ Ultrasonics as their current equipment had gotten to the end of its life cycle. They weren’t getting the results they required anymore and needed a new ultrasonic cleaning solution to continue operations. EJ Ultrasonics has since been providing products for Global Metal Finishers for the past 15 years. Our ultrasonic equipment plays a vital role in the cleaning process before the plating of their products and is fundamental to the quality of their output.

Our engineers first conducted site visits to assess the equipment and find out where the issues were within their system. Once we identified the problems, we manufactured and supplied 8 replacement submersible units and carried out a service and refurbishment on 6 generators. We also provided in-shop repairs to ensure the equipment was fit for purpose and suited the process and that the installation ran smoothly.

Our expertise was valuable in getting the factory running more efficiently and the cleaning effective again, and Global Metal Finishers have been more than pleased with the results of their new ultrasonic equipment.
